Give-Back Wednesdays: American Daughters with Barrier Babes drive
Working with amazing community partners has been one of our favorite chapters in Boulevard’s 30-year history. We’re celebrating some of these outstanding organizations during our birthday month! Each Wednesday in November we’re hosting a happy hour featuring a local partner in our Beer Hall from 4-7pm. $5 from each Birthday Flight and $1 from every full pour sold, plus tips and donations collected, will benefit our featured organization, who will be hanging out educating about the important work they do. On November 13th we will be joined by American Daughters, whose mission is to support and connect women through the American Daughters Collective and expose young women to greater opportunities and resources through the American Daughters Academy so that more women will claim their space and their future in Kansas City. That day Barrier Babes will also join us for a menstrual product drive!
Barrier Babes works to bring sexual health and wellness to the Midwest. People can support their work towards menstrual equity by donating tampons, pads, individually wrapped panty liners, and individually wrapped hygiene wipes.
