For Everyone

Welcoming Everyone

More than 55 years ago, Kansas City hosted a meeting of 39 national LGBTQ+ civil rights leaders to plan strategies and develop collaborations. This pivotal meeting signified the first step in forming a national organization dedicated to LGBTQ+ advocacy.

Today, our city continues to be welcoming to all. Regardless of race, color, religion, disability, creed, sex, gender identity, and expression, we are all deserving of love and a beer.

We take pride in creating a culture where all our employees feel valued, included, and empowered. Hate is not tolerated on our campus.

Supporting the LGBTQ+ Community

Proceeds from our Pride 2022 activities will go towards supporting local charities. This year,  we are proud to partner with SAVE, Inc. in support of Pride Haven: their overnight shelter for age 18-24 youth facing homelessness. We are also excited to support Our Spot KC whose mission is to provide safe, accepting, and affirming programming, services, and resources to empower the LGBTQ+ community. Both organizations help create welcoming spaces for LGBTQ+ youth, as well as create a more cohesive community.

Remember: Pride doesn’t end in June. Please join us in supporting LGBTQ+ establishments all year-round. Our earnest commitment to the LGBTQ+ community began in 2021 and you can read more about it HERE.

Supporting the LGBTQ+ Community

It’s a Matter of Pride for Us

Pride is an undeniably powerful show of love, acceptance, and recognition of our unique qualities. Our ability to celebrate has been made possible by LGBTQ+ activists and allies who have put their lives on the line time and time again in order to educate communities on equality.

This year we’re excited to feature a number of activations throughout Pride month including a brand new line of Prideful merchandise, a June Community Crowler designed by local artist and LGBTQ+ community member Kevin Garrison from Willoughby Design, and the return of Drag Night and Rainbow Bingo.
