Barrel-Aged Happy Hour! 9/25, 9/27, 9/29
Join us for a night of Barrel-Aged beers and cheese pairings in our Smokestack Room. Our passionate beer experts will breakdown the ingredients of each beer and discuss different barrel-aging methods and how they affect the sensory experience of each beer.
We’ve put together an incredible line-up showcasing the different styles of barrel-aged beers we make. We’ll begin in the land of stouts, starting with our new Whiskey Barrel Stout followed by the phenomenal and extremely limited Cabernet Cask Imperial Stout. Next we will enjoy a pair of sour barrel-aged beers. First, from our GABF medal winning series of beers the all-around amazing Love Child No. #8 and then a newer member of our lineup, the dark and sour Changeling. As if that wasn’t enough we will finish with perennial favorite Bourbon Barrel Quad, our Sixth Glass quadrupel ale aged in bourbon barrels with cherries.
To make sure you stay upright throughout the tasting we will also be pairing a few cheeses and discussing our philosophy of pairing intense beers like these with cheese.
