Meet the Beer Elves 2024

Every year we print our Nutcracker Winter Warmer bottles with each and every employee’s name on the neck with the year they started at Boulevard. We wish we could tell you about all of the amazing people that make this place run, but this year we’ve chosen one from each decade. Thank you to all our Nutcracker Beer Elves for all the amazing work you do!

Byron Ewing – Supply Warehouse Supervisor

SINCE 1994

Meet Byron Ewing, one of Boulevard’s longest tenured Beer Elves! For 30 jolly years, Byron has been spreading cheer, first as a packaging operator on the bottling line and now as the warehouse manager, keeping lists of materials in and out and checking it twice. Known for his dedication, hearty laugh, and boundless love for his grandchildren, Byron’s true passion shines on the golf course. This holiday season, we raise a toast to Byron—proof that Boulevard is powered by hardworking elves all year long.

Renee Sexton | Community Engagement & Marketing Coordinator

SINCE 2004

Meet Renee Sexton, who has a heart bigger than the Grinch after Christmas. Since 2004, Renee has been a shining star at Boulevard, starting as an executive assistant and now leading the charge as our Community Engagement & Marketing Coordinator. At the office, she manages our countless community donations to local clubs, organizations, and charities. At home, she’s a devoted puppy foster mom with TARA’s Animal Rescue, giving over 100 sweet pups a chance at a forever home—sometimes even bringing them to the brewery for much-needed tummy rubs. It’s her holiday wish that you donate or rescue an animal this season.

Steve Linder | Regional Market Manager

SINCE 2010

Say hello to Steve Linder! Steve joined the Boulevard family in 2010, fulfilling a lifelong dream after serving our country as a proud U.S. Army veteran. For 16 years, he’s been a familiar face in the Kansas City community, sharing his passion for beer and his gift of gab with everyone he meets—because with Steve, there’s no such thing as a stranger. Beyond spreading holiday cheer, Steve is a champion for veterans, proudly serving as the first member of the Veterans Community Project‘s Honor Corps. This season, we’re grateful for elves like Steve who make our world brighter every day!
