Westside Wilds ‘Kill The Keg’ Haunting Hour
Imbibe in something new with Foeder-Aged Saison Ale with Brett, the first release in a new series of one-of-a-kind beers released exclusively at the Tours & Rec Center. On the wild side of Westside, our barrel wranglers have been patiently awaiting this release. While the world turned several hundred times, three strains of Brettanomyces haunted one of our many foeders, filled in early 2020 with a house Saison. The large wooden vessel is designed to allow these yeast strains to run wild. After two years Foeder-Aged Saison Ale with Brett has been freed from its captivity, and let loose in the world. Bright and mischievous, this phantom ale is playfully tart and pleasantly fruity.
- On 10/26 join from 5-7pm us for the haunting hour in the Beer Hall. Brewers Quinn Reader and Brent Cox will be on hand to sample this creation, plus one super exclusive keg of this beer primed with berries that Brent foraged from a Service Berry tree that he planted on site. Come down and kill the keg! Plus learn more about these unique projects and the brewers that make them.
