“Dalima Kapten is a musician who deeply believes in the profundity of storytelling as a road to intercultural empathy. She recently graduated from the University of Central Missouri with a Master’s in Music Technology, and her work pays homage to her Kansas roots.
Dalima’s music presents a surrealist diary of the Midwest alongside her primary band, including Spencer Reeve (Bassist), Daul Lee (Pianist), and Jade Harvey (Drummer).
Dalima Kapten’s debut EP, Field Fire Burn, Burn, released in November 2024, blends genres familiar to the Midwest, such as singer-songwriter folk, jazz, country, and rock, with weight and grace.”
