Son of a Nutcracker – Rec Deck The Halls is back! The Tours & Rec Center presents our fourth-floor holiday pop-up bar for a third snow-dusted season. Join us for a magical experience featuring a copious cocktail menu of holiday-inspired bevvies concocted with Quirk Hard Seltzers, Fling Craft Cocktails, and of course boozy barrel-aged beers. With keepsake glassware, yuletide nibbles, and shimmering shuffleboard courts, we’ll have more holiday spirit than a Claymation movie marathon.
This 21 and over winter wonderland is open November 25th- December 30th, Fridays & Saturdays 1:30-10 pm. Two-hour seating in the pop-up is available on a first-come, first-served basis for a $5 cover charge, with a portion of proceeds benefitting Kansas City G.I.F.T. Groups of 8-30 however will require a reservation. Do note that we are unable to accommodate parties larger than 30 guests.

This is the perfect soirée setting for groups of 8 - 30. Each 2-hour reservation comes with a delightfully decorated table or seating corner for your group and a holiday nosh package of your choosing. Add on a shuffleboard court for the perfect festive outing. Seating is limited on this Polar Express, so make your reservations now!

On Tuesday, December 12th, we’re celebrating the season with a tinselly Tunesday! Join us and our friends at 90.9 The Bridge for a LIVE broadcast of the Eight One Sixty with host Chris Haghirian, followed by a free live show set by The Snow Globes. This all-ages event is free and open to the public. Broadcast kicks off at 6 on the Rec Deck, free music follows at 7.
