Give-Back Wednesdays: Lead to Read KC

Working with amazing community partners has been one of our favorite chapters in Boulevard’s 30-year history. We’re celebrating some of these outstanding organizations during our birthday month! Each Wednesday in November we’re hosting a happy hour featuring a local partner in our Beer Hall from 4-7pm. $5 from each Birthday Flight and $1 from every full pour sold, plus tips and donations collected, will benefit our featured organization, who will be hanging out educating about the important work they do. On November 20th we’ll be joined by our friends at Lead to Read KC, who will be here selling t-shirts, conducting a 50/50 raffle, and discussing their mission to improve third-grade literacy by mobilizing community volunteers to read one-to-one with children in Kansas City-area classrooms on a weekly basis.
