A Book & A Beer with Mayor Sly James

Join us as we celebrate the release of Mayor Sly James’ candid autobiography, A Passion for Purpose: Building Cities for Our Children. Event ticket-holders will enjoy a meet and greet happy hour, which will include a discussion and Q&A session with Mayor James. Your $25 ticket includes a copy of A Passion for Purpose, signed by Sly, and a welcome beer of your choice. Additionally, each guest will receive a raffle ticket, and we’ll pull winners throughout the event to take home prizes from Boulevard, Ascend Books, and other friends! Additional raffle tickets can be purchased in the Rec Deck, with raffle sales, as well as tips and donations collected throughout the evening, benefitting Turn the Page KC. Our bar & kitchen will be available for additional purchases. Thursday, September 12th 6:00-8:00pm $25 ticket | 21+
