816 Day at the Tours & Rec Center

As proud Kansas Citians, we get to show off our great city to more than 75,000 visitors each year. We can’t wait to celebrate 816 DAY at the Tours & Rec Center with all things KC and BLVD! All-day on Friday, August 16th, our Beer Hall (all ages) will feature a flight of four classic beers and our Rec Deck ( 21+) will offer the KC AF flatbread – featuring Jack Stack Barbecue burnt ends, Rufus Teague Unfiltered Wheat barbecue sauce and KC Canning Co. Hoppy Pickles — for $8.16 each. Our Gift Shop will also showcase swag from our favorite local makers, and our friends from 101 The Fox will be in the house celebrating along with us. On 816 DAY, tune into Slacker’s Free Food Friday – 5 am – 9 am to hear about what’s brewing in the Rec Deck, our latest visitor experience. Listeners will have a chance to win a $100 gift card to our Beer Hall & Rec Deck. At 3 pm, join us and Skid Roadie to take in the skyline view with a cold BLVD in hand and enjoy a LIVE broadcast of 101 the Fox’s Fox Friday Party in the Rec Deck 21+ until 7 pm.
