Our take on the well-known American Brown Ale represents a bit of a twist as our brewers chose to focus on complex layers of caramel malt accented by small percentages of flaked oats and roasted barley in the malt bill balanced by a beginning of boil hop charge of Hallertau Blanc hops. Fermented with our house Scottish yeast strain, Tasting Room American Brown Ale presents dark, fruity esters and toffee/biscuity malt in the aroma followed by sweet, toasty grain notes leading to a slightly sweet, lingering finish.
