DESCRIPTION:Are you a craft beer enthusiast, Kansas City lover & natural public speaker? If so, we want you! Our Tours & Rec Dept. is currently looking for part-time tour guides for our busy summer season. We will be holding open interviews from 3:00-7:00pm on Wednesday, May 24th. Interested, qualified candidates should attend this open interview session, with a resume, and check in at our Tours & Recreation Center Welcome Desk at 2534 Madison Avenue.\n\nBrewery Guides are the faces of our story, processes & beers. They are responsible for having a strong grasp on a wide breadth of brewery information, including our history, culture, processes, business practices, events & detailed information about all of our beers. Holiday & weekend work are required.\n\n \n\nDUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES\n\n 	Tour groups through our production facility while upholding safety & timing standards\n 	Take ownership of effectively communicating our history, processes and brands in an accurate and entertaining fashion\n 	Field questions from brewery guests and make recommendations about our beer and Kansas City\n 	Pour samples for tour guests, upholding beer service standards\n 	Bus tables, wash glassware, change kegs and maintain a clean & organized Tour Tasting Room\n\n \n\nKNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND ABILITIES REQUIRED\n\n \n\n 	Strong customer service and communication skills\n 	A passion for craft beer and basic understanding of the brewing process and styles\n 	An interest in learning, asking questions and demonstrating knowledge to others\n 	Enthusiasm for public speaking\n 	 Strong alignment to company culture and values.\n 	The ability to keep with a schedule in a fast-paced, high volume environment\n 	 Ability to collaborate and work well with management, peers and across functions.\n 	 Strong communication and interpersonal skill\n\nThis job consists of mostly walking/standing and the ability to lift over 40 lbs. We are looking for guides to work both during the week & on weekends. Weekend and holiday work is required. Positions offering 8-20 hours per week are available.
