Boulevard’s Big Game Miami Travel Guide

Posted January 27, 2020

Category: General

In just a few days, Kansas City will be playing in the Big Game for the first time in 50 YEARS. It's no secret that Kansas City football fans are some of the most hardcore and dedicated in the league, so we have no doubt that plenty of faithfuls will be heading to Miami to witness history in person. It never hurts to have a little taste of home when you're away, and it just makes sense to enjoy Kansas City beer when you're rallying behind Kansas City football. So, we put together a quick guide to some of our favorite spots in Miami where you can grab a Boulevard beer or two (and probably more once we win the championship).

GRAB AND GO

You'll definitely want to make sure your hotel room or AirBNB is stocked with Boulevard beer, so find your way to one of these shops and fill that fridge.

BBQ AND BBQ AT EMBER

MORE EATS
Ember

151 NE 47th St

Miami, FL 33137

Just a few months old, this Design District bistro specializes in wood-fired fare like steaks, smoked fried chicken and even fire-roasted lasagna. Of course, we'd suggest giving the Kansas City BBQ Ribs a try and pair them with none other than our own BBQ (Bourbon Barrel Quad).

Joe’s Stone Crab

11 Washington Ave

Miami Beach, FL 33139

Eating at Joe's Stone Crab isn't just a meal, it's an experience. Established in 1913, the Miami Beach institution has been recognized by the James Beard Foundation with an America's Classics Award. Grab a Tank 7 as you strap on your bib and prepare to dive into piles of fresh seafood.

COCKTAILS
Sweet Liberty

237 20th St

Miami Beach, FL 33139

Looking for a momentary break from beer and need a cocktail? We're not offended. We suggest scoping out Sweet Liberty, in the heart of Miami Beach. Slinging creative cocktails and repeatedly recognized as one of the world's best bars, they'll have special Kansas City-themed food and beverages all day on Sunday. And when you're ready to dive back into beer, they'll gladly hand you an Easy Sport!

ACTIVITIES

For many Kansas City football fans headed to Miami, the trip means a much-needed break from the cold, gray winter weather here in the midwest. Take advantage of the warmth and sunshine in Miami by hitting a few balls at Top Golf. They have The Calling IPA ready and waiting for you!

Chops & Hops – Axe Throwing LODGE

702 NE 1st Ave

Fort Lauderdale, FL 33304

Beer and blades might seem like a disaster waiting to happen, but it's actually a ridiculously fun way to kill some time with friends. Visit Fort Lauderdale's first axe-throwing lodge, where you can grab a Space Camper to help you unleash your inner lumberjack.

901 S Federal Hwy

Hallendale Beach, FL 33009

Hit up the casino or watch some horse races at Gulfstream Park, where you'll want to keep an eye out for the BLVD Bar - here you can grab a Tank 7, Space Camper or American Kolsch to enhance your experience!
