Human Resources Director

We’re looking for a talented, experienced, well-rounded professional to direct HR for our growing U.S. operations.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Recruitment
  • Employee relations and counseling
  • Policy development and maintenance
  • Comp and benefits design, structure and administration
  • Performance metrics and incentive program development and maintenance
  • Individual, team, and organizational development
  • HR compliance – all of it
Requirements Include:
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field
  • 10 years experience in HR, with at least five in HR management
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Superior computer skills, including Excel (PowerPoint may be a liability ☺ )
  • Passion for good beer strongly preferred

Sales Representative – New York City

Duvel Moortgat USA is internationally recognized as a leader in the high-end luxury beer segment. We are currently seeking a Sales Representative for New York City. This position will secure new business via direct sales and develop existing business via promotional execution and merchandising activities of the assigned distribution network. Competitive salary, bonus, car allowance, medical/dental, 401k, and other benefits are available.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Ensure the implementation of all sales and marketing programs for the entire portfolio
  • Motivate distributor sales force to achieve sales objectives
  • Focus on selling products and/or upgrading number of product lines in retail accounts (bars/restaurants, liquor/grocery stores)
  • Identify accounts that are not being penetrated with Duvel USA products and develop a plan to establish business with such accounts
  • Conduct wait-staff / bartender educations, beer tastings and beer dinners
  • Ensure proper merchandizing of on- and off-premise accounts
  • Plan and execute on-premise promotions as required (note: evenings; weekend festivals)
  • Develop and maintain close relationships with key accounts both on and off-premise.
  • Work with local distributors to increase brand awareness and consumption
  • Be responsible for the allocation and use of point-of-sale materials
  • Collect data (e.g. pricing, distribution) as required
  • Compile and submit reports required for the sales division
  • Operate effectively within corporate and budgetary guidelines
  • Track and monitor progress in all identified accounts
  • Observe all state and federal laws pertaining to the sale, merchandising and promotion of malt beverages
KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • One to two years malt beverage experience, preferably with at least one year at a wine or beer distributor
  • Ability to interface with various levels of management, at wholesale as well as retail
  • Self-motivation and ability to work with limited amount of direction; ability to work both independently and within a team to accomplish goals
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to speak in front of large groups, conduct trainings/promotions
  • Strong work ethic; demonstrated ability to plan and manage multiple responsibilities
  • An intense competitive spirit with an assertive, confident personality

Market Manager – Oklahoma

Duvel Moortgat USA is internationally recognized as a leader in the high-end luxury beer segment. We are currently seeking a Market Manager to oversee the Oklahoma territory. The preferred candidate will live in, or be willing to relocate to Tulsa or Oklahoma City. Competitive salary, bonus, car allowance, medical/dental, 401k, and other benefits available.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develop and execute national sales strategy through effective leadership and management of direct reports.
  • Develop short and long-term, divisional business priorities and identify issues/opportunities across all trade channels.
  • Deliver division shipments, depletion, contribution, and distribution/RoS objectives.
  • Manage divisional spend-to-budget and deliver ROI objectives.
  • Manage and develop customer relationships, ensuring focus and execution against company objectives and provide appropriate feedback and direction based on performance.
  • Develop and execute divisional sales and marketing programming ensuring consistency with company objectives.
  • Deliver execution of strategic brand plans, price positioning, consumer marketing programs, and new product launches.
  • Develop and execute strategic alignment of wholesaler network.
  • Develop effective working relationship with senior distributor management teams driving strategic initiatives “top down”.
  • Manage, coach, and develop direct reports.
  • Manage brand projects, brand budgeting; prepare and present branded presentations to external audiences.
  • Analyze performance to address variances and ensure that corrective actions are implemented in a timely manner.
  • Forecast future shipment and depletions trends.
  • Provide management with market intelligence including sales trends, product developments and competitor activity, and recommend strategies to address these trends.
  • Observe all state and federal laws pertaining to the sale, merchandising, and promotion of malt beverages.
KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
