Sales Representative – New York City

Duvel Moortgat USA is internationally recognized as a leader in the high-end luxury beer segment. We are currently seeking a Sales Representative for New York City. This position will secure new business via direct sales and develop existing business via promotional execution and merchandising activities of the assigned distribution network. Competitive salary, bonus, car allowance, medical/dental, 401k, and other benefits are available.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Ensure the implementation of all sales and marketing programs for the entire portfolio
  • Motivate distributor sales force to achieve sales objectives
  • Focus on selling products and/or upgrading number of product lines in retail accounts (bars/restaurants, liquor/grocery stores)
  • Identify accounts that are not being penetrated with Duvel USA products and develop a plan to establish business with such accounts
  • Conduct wait-staff / bartender educations, beer tastings and beer dinners
  • Ensure proper merchandizing of on- and off-premise accounts
  • Plan and execute on-premise promotions as required (note: evenings; weekend festivals)

National Accounts Manager – East

Duvel Moortgat USA is currently seeking a National Accounts Manager for the Eastern Division. This position will manage and direct sales and merchandising activities of the assigned chain accounts. Preferred candidate will reside in Albany or Syracuse, NY. New Jersey, Ohio, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Virginia and New York will be considered. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develop and maintain collaborative long-term relationships with chain accounts both on and off-premise.
  • Build a deep understanding of Duvel Moortgat USA, our breweries, our beers, and our history.
  • Deliver Duvel USA chain account volume, revenue, and distribution sales goals.
  • Conduct analysis and develop presentations that increase Company feature and display activity, expand distribution and optimize shelf position that increase volume and market share.
  • Motivate distributor management and sales force in order to achieve chain sales objectives, including the development and oversight of wholesaler programming.

Brand Ambassador

We are looking for Brand Ambassadors to conduct beer sampling in the retail environment and provide routine and ad-hoc support to the Sales Team. This is a part-time, temporary position – approximately 20 hours per week. The position requires working evenings and weekends, primarily between 4pm and 10pm. Must be 21 years old to apply.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Sampling events at on-premise locations (bars, nightclubs) will require approaching patrons to sample and promote the featured brands.
  • Sampling events at off-premise locations (liquor and grocery stores) will require providing samples and suggestive sell to consumers in the retail location.
KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

Brewer

First and foremost our brewers must have a passion for the craft of beer making and creating exceptional beers for our customers. This position includes the operation and basic maintenance of raw materials handling, Brewhouse operations, Cellar management, and Filtration procedures. Additional responsibilities include the analysis of various production and quality parameters. Always looking for continuous improvement, candidates must be committed to quality, understand brewery sanitation and help create a safe work environment.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Ability to make critical decisions based on various production and quality parameters.

  • Physical strength, flexibility and stamina required.
  • Must be able to lift 55 lbs. repeatedly
  • Work schedule requires the ability to rotate through three shifts (early, swing, and night shifts), including week-ends and holidays.
